Elevated Distributing was launched and operates with one goal in mind – to seamlessly deliver products and brands that focus on our customers’ customers. It’s easy for a consumer to buy a product once – the question is, do/will they buy it again. We do our homework and due diligence so that you don’t have to.
The founders of Elevated have been in the overall legal cannabis industry for over 20 years and have been involved at every stage of production from seed, to farming, to extraction and product development. Having started in the hemp industry in 2017, the Elevated team has continued to explore the 100+ cannabinoids and works with top-tier chemists and formulists to perform proper due diligence on all products and brands that get delivered to our customers.
Delta-8 is a powerful cannabinoid native to the cannabis flower. Delta-8 is an isomer of CBD, which is a derivative of hemp and CBD, a cannabinoid found in hemp, and is found in our products with less than 0.3% Delta-9-THC. In other words, Delta 8 is sort of a middle ground between hemp, CBD and THC-Delta-9.
The most important difference is that Delta-8 is federally legal in the United States!Delta-8 has been known to provide a much smoother experience than Delta-9 THC; as it tends to come on gradually with less risk of anxiety and paranoia. Delta-8 also tends to act as much more of a mood enhancer. Like Delta-9, Delta-8 also binds to the CB1 receptor to provide a euphoric feeling. Like other cannabinoids, Delta-8 has been cited as helping provide pain relief, reduce inflammation, and overall calmness.According to The National Cancer Institute, Delta-8 is defined as an isomer of hemp “of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with antiemetic, anxiolytic, appetite-stimulating, analgesic, and neuroprotective properties.” The Institute further states that Delta-8 exhibits “a lower psychotropic potency than Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9-THC), the primary form of THC found in cannabis.”
In short, yes. It is important to understand that, while Delta-8 is chemically different from Delta-9 by a few atomic bonds, most users do experience a psychoactive effect that is mild in comparison to the psychoactive effect of Delta-9.
Since all Delta-8 products distributed by Elevated contain only Delta-8 made from 100% Hemp extract, brands distributed by Elevated are able to fully legally manufacture, distribute and sell these life-enhancing products to consumers in the United States. Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, ratified and signed into law in December 2018, cannabis containing less than 0.3% Delta 9 is legally classified as hemp, and therefore it and all of its derivatives are legal under federal law.
Delta-8 affects different cannabinoid receptors in your endocannabinoid system and is often described as a much more ‘cognitive’ psychoactive experience, paired with just the right amount of euphoria. If you’re looking for a less “couch locked” experience, Delta-8 is probably exactly what your customers are looking for.
Absolutely not. Though Delta-8 is chemically different from Delta-9, it is only by a few atomic bonds but still tests as THC. Drug testing standards cannot differentiate between these compounds and you will absolutely fail a drug test when tested for THC. All products distributed by Elevated do contain a value of less than 0.3% Delta-9 (Δ9).
Terpenes are aromatic compounds that are known in cannabis and other plants for creating the unique scents and favors that are often attributed to them (e.g. cannabis, pine, lavender, fresh orange peel, etc). Whether it be cannabis, hops, or oranges, the fragrance of most plants is due to a combination of terpenes. Terpenes were initially developed by plants for the adaptive purpose of repelling pests and predators and to protect the plants from animal grazing or infectious germs. However, terpenes may also offer some health benefits to the human body. As cannabis and hemp regulations continue to become more progressive, the scientific community continues to research and better understand these possible benefits. The overall medicinal benefits of hemp and cannabis have driven this new interest in naturally occurring terpnes; one of the many reasons that Elevated Distributing only carries products with naturally derived terpenes and will never carry anything with synthetics. There are over 100 terpenes found in the cannabis plant and every strain of the cannabis plant contains a “unique terpene type and composition”. Nowadays, terpenes are used to create scents, flavors, and, occasionally, different feelings or sensations.
Elevated Distributing closely monitors all Federal and State laws and regulations. If you live in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, Rhode Island, Utah, & Washington, unfortunately, we are not able to process or sell Delta-8 products to you at this time.
